One of Australia’s leading corporate learning and development companies, talkforce has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, for its Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Founder and Managing Director of talkforce, Christopher Whitnall said acknowledging Australia’s rich indigenous culture was important for his business and their clients.

“We are proud to live in a country with the oldest living cultural history on earth,” Mr Whitnall said.

“At talkforce, we recognise and respect Australia’s amazingly complex and diverse history”.

The talkforce Reflect RAP has been the culmination of many months of work, in partnership with the Reconciliation Australia team.

General Manager of talkforce, Joseph La Posta said it had been a labour of love.

“We hope this public commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, business and communities will inspire conversation and action within our team, clients and broader network,” Mr La Posta said.

The General Manager said talkforce had already engaged indigenous organisation, Ngakkan Nyaagu (NGNY) to roll out its new website and brand refresh.

Reconciliation Australia CEO, Karen Mundine said the Reflect RAP will help talkforce to develop its own vision for reconciliation by applying cultural learning, respectful business practice and the promotion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment.

The company’s Reflect RAP will be formerly launched at The Dock, talkforce, Clarke Road, Woolwich at 10.30am on Friday, 13 April 2018.

Among the invited guests will be those from the local community; business chamber; Reconciliation Australia; Multicultural NSW; as well as representatives from Local Council.
