On Monday the talkforce group came together with associates and the admin team for a day to catch up and connect the teams. Set up in The Dock and hosted by our Founder and Managing Director, Christopher Whitnall and General Manager, Joseph La Posta.
We had new faces and old hands in to discuss to some of our new programs, and exchange ideas and training tips.
For the nervous amongst us, Matt Wright started us off with a round of speed dating where we learnt each other’s passions, strengths and idiosyncrasies, followed by a session about Emotional Intelligence with Kat Thomas.
Andrew Craig, a proud Kamilaroi man came in too, sharing with us stories about his culture, Aboriginal Lore, and customs, and Troy Roderick ended the day for us with a session on Diversity and Inclusion, and its importance within the workplace.
Our entire team comes together quarterly to discuss industry trends and share best practice technics. We also use the opportunity to collaborate as a team to ensure our clients and programs continue to always connect back with our talkforce vision, purpose and values. Following our session, we always share a meal and learn more about each other as humans – no titles, no work talk… Just connected people who are passionate about people!
We’d like to thank Matt Wright, Kat Thomas, Andrew Craig, and Troy Roderick for delivering sessions for us on the day.
